yet another post for the day~~~

while traveling on bus today, smth came to my mind... suddenly thought of how my journey of being in SWS started...

and so it all goes back to like 3 or 4 years back... where i was still a euphonium player then.. or baritonist.. which ever it was called... so... was in sec 3 that year... erm.. if i'm not wrong, was like year end?? and the talks and wispers as talent time was round the corner too...

the group of people in my class was very enthusiastic about it... and i think my class got 4 groups planning to go... 2 soloist and 2 groups... so... one of the groups, the planned were in the instrumental category, and so coincidently they needed a trumpeter... and at that time, i was the only one available.. well, though i'm an offical euphonium player, i do plays the trumpet some other time during non-band hours... so i decided to be in.... and of course at that point of time i wasnt a good trumpeter as compared to now... we still got 1st price ....

it was then this punk.. which i forgot his name... he asked mi... ' will u be inspired to like... buy a trumpet and stuff? start smth on it' well, i didnt really think of it.. i mean... i did think about it.. but then didnt dare to think so far either.. and so, life goes on as usual...

until...... my junior, hui min, got sight of this SWS website thingy, said that they are having seat-ins.. and so a bunch of us went together... at that time, i was already an offical trumpeter, but sad to say i haven got my own one... so i took my sch's Bach trumpet for the sit in... still remember the first song was invictus... for which i had played that song for like... 3 to 4 times ...wahaha...

and then, that's where my journey actually started... all thnz to the talent time.. which erm.. shld i say brought out my talent in music??? wahahah.... and so, i've earned my small small reputation as a 1st trumpeter, sectional leader, and also a assitant's assitant librarian in SWS youth.. wahaha.... so proud of myself... thnz you thnz you....
